In the summer of 2021, I founded my own company laserWerkbrouck, based on my interest in automating machines and personalizing gifts.

I played with the idea of ​​one day making a machine that could write for me. Just a machine in which you can place a ballpoint pen and it will then write an entered text for you, just as if you had written it yourself. The knowledge to achieve this was there, but the time and motivation to get started was lacking.

One day I saw a commercial about an engraving machine. That seemed interesting to me, because in the end it's kind of the same as the machine I wanted to make. Only here the ballpoint pen has been replaced by a laser. After some research I decided to buy such a machine.

A lot of testing and experimenting later I realized that I could make very nice things with that laser machine not only for myself, but also for others.

And here we are… I am self-employed as a secondary occupation, I love to do what I can do and I am sometimes still amazed at what is possible.

And the name of my company, it just comes from my family name (Werkbrouck) and laser work / engraving with a laser.
